Introduction to Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy
32-Hours - 5 Days

This
is an introductory Medical Qigong Course consisting
of 32 hour (6.5 hours a day for 5 days). There are
no prerequisites for this instruction. The textbook
“Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy: A Comprehensive
Clinical Text” will be used throughout the course
for subject material. All Medical Qigong training
courses are offered through the Healing Qi Institute..
Introduction to Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy
(Course 1.P)
This first course is designed to introduce students
to the basic theories of energy cultivation.Students
will be taught the basic theories of Energy Cultivation,
Three Regulations of Medical Qigong Therapy, Emotional
Detoxification, Energizing the Three Dantians, Strengthening
the body’s Protective Energy Field, Diagnosis and
Energetic Modalities, Developing Energetic Sensitivity
and Perception skills, increasing Energetic Projection
skills, increasing Energetic Diagnostic skills, and
introduction to Clinical Applications, Diagnosing
and Treating Problems of Energetic Deviations, and
Establishing a Medical Qigong Clinic.
This first course will concentrate on building a comprehensive
foundation of esoteric energetic medicine with a focus
on Medical Qigong therapy and Traditional Chinese
Medicine.

• Introduction to Medical Qigong:
Energetic Embryological Development, Energetic Anatomy
and Physiology; Dredging the Body’s Yin and Yang Channels;
Wuji Posture and 1-through-4 Meditation.
Reading Assignment: All of Chapters 1 and 2 (pages 3-50);
Chapter 10 ( pages 225-230);and Chpater 29 (pages 504-505)
• Purging and Dredging Stagnant Qi Exercises:
Counter Swing, Dropping Post, and Trembling Horse; Natural
Breathing; Beating and Drumming the Qi Meditation
• Daoist Five Yang Organ Exercise:
To Tonify and Regulate the Peristaltic Action of the
Digestive System; Proper Posture, Breathing and Mental
Concentration for Tonification Exercises.
Reading Assignment: All of Chapter 14 (pages 313-315);
Chapter 15 (pages 321-334); Chapter 16 (349-357); Chapter
17 (359-365) and Chapter 42 (709-710)

• Ren Wu Zang Meditation to Prevent the Invasion
of External Pathogens:
Shengong Meditation (Wu Zang - to strengthen the body’s
energetic field in order to protect the healer from
